Creative Kicks Media can run up to 12 channels of wireless microphones in a compact battery powered recording rig and up to 48 channels for an install or desktop in total, giving productions the flexibility they need without compromising on quality. We use broadcast standard equipment, partnering with trusted brands like Sound Devices, Allen & Heath, Sanken, Schoeps, DPA, Shure, Lectrosonics, Sennheiser, and Rycote—because great audio starts with the right tools.
Cutting-Edge Noise ReductionWe’ve also invested in Sound Devices NoiseAssist—a game-changer for tricky locations. If you haven’t heard of it, think of it like noise-canceling headphones for our mics. It suppresses background noise in real time, making it an affordable and effective solution for shoots in less-than-ideal environments. Redundant Backups – Because Anything Can HappenOn set, backup recordings aren’t optional—they’re essential. We always run three layers of redundancy to make sure nothing gets lost, because “uh-oh” moments aren’t part of our workflow. Not to jinx it, but Mike’s never lost a take—and doesn’t plan to start now. |
