Creative Kicks was engaged by INTREC for Holmesglen Institute to capture Drone Photography in Melbourne and drone video Melbourne of construction of the world class training facility at the Drummond Street Campus in Chadstone, Victoria. The Victoria Tunnelling Centre (VTC) is an Australian-first, providing Holmesglen with a state-of-the-art facility to educate and skill thousands of students in underground construction and tunnelling.
The project involved the design, construction, installation and commissioning of two full-sized replica tunnels within the new Centre, created to the exact specifications used by Melbourne’s Metro Tunnel. The first of which is a replica Tunnel Boring Machine (TBM), and the other a replica Tunnel Boring Machine-created tunnel. Features such as high capacity drainage and a cross passage were implemented to mimic high-risk environments and allow simulated shotcrete operations. Additionally, two multi-purpose engineering workshops (one wet and one dry) were constructed, along with front of house facilities including amenities and an entrance hall. We provided regular content updates shooting with our DJI drones and Sony mirrorless cameras for Intrec's use in marketing collateral and tender submissions. |
