LOCATION SOUND RECORDING IN MELBOURNE

Sound recordist for film, TV, reality, doco TVC and corporate productions. We arrive with a plan, build quickly and capture usable audio from the first take. Fifteen years of broadcast production behind us.

IF THE AUDIO IS COOKED, THE MOMENT IS GONE.

You can fix a lot of things in post. Ruined location audio is not one of them. ADR costs time and money and it never quite sounds like the real thing. You can use AI, but it always sounds a little bit off. We’ve been on enough sets to know what goes wrong and how to stop it happening. We show up with obsessively organised setups, know set etiquette and we know the technical standards before your post team asks.

We are not the crew you have to micro manage on the day.

WHO WE WORK WITH

WHO IT’S FOR?

01

TV & Broadcast

Documentary, reality and lifestyle. We know what audio needs to sound like before it hits the broadcast desk.

02

Advertising & TVC

Clean dialogue from every angle. Your agency should not be fighting audio problems in the edit suite.

03

Live Music Performances

Concerts, festivals, live music venues. Clean multi-track from the stage, timecode synced with your video crew.

04

Corporate Production

Interview, testimonial, panel. Whatever the setup, we make it sound like you’re in the room.

05

Motorsport & Sport

Specialist rigging, remote recording and IFB solutions. Fast-moving, high-pressure days. That’s what we do.

06

Reality & Unscripted

Things move fast on unscripted shows. We build setups that move with the production, not against it.

TECHNICAL DELIVERABLES

THE WORKFLOW

  1. 01

    Pre-Production

We read the script, review the shot list and check the production schedule before day one. If there’s a problem, we find it at this stage.

  2. 02

    Kit Prep

Custom kit list built for your specific shoot and setup. Nothing that slows us down on set, nothing missing when we need it.

  3. 03

    On-Set

Quiet, organised and production aware. We get along with any crew and we know how to stay out of the shot.

  4. 04

    Files and Handover

Handover to your edit team on the same day. Backed up on the cloud. Labelled multitracks, full sound reports, no wondering what syncs to what.
