HIRE PRICING EXPLAINED

A standard one day hire covers up to 24 hours from the confirmed handover time to the confirmed return time, unless another window appears in the booking. The exact collection and return times form part of the booking.

Most equipment and packages include an extended one day collection window. Where confirmed, this will allow collection after 3pm on the day before the booked use date, and return by 10am on the morning following the booked use date.

Longer hires may receive multi day or weekly pricing. Enter your full hire period to see the applicable rate where automatic pricing has been configured. Long term, touring, production or larger custom bookings may be quoted separately.

The equipment shown, the accessories listed under What's Included, and the confirmed hire period. It doesn't include an operator, delivery, setup or unlisted accessories unless specifically stated.

Packages combine equipment for a particular use. Always check the included equipment, cables, stands, microphones, batteries, what you need to supply, and any optional add ons.

A package isn't an unlimited equipment bundle. Only the listed items are actually in it.

Melbourne delivery starts at $82.50 including GST, charged each way.

The final price depends on distance, timing, vehicle requirements, equipment volume, parking and tolls, loading access, stairs and lifts, waiting time, setup or pack down, and crew requirements.

Delivery is transport only unless the booking states otherwise.

Setup, pack down and operation are separate services. These may be quoted by fixed service fee, hourly rate, half day rate, full day rate, crew call, or custom production quote.

A security bond or card hold applies. The minimum is $200, and may increase according to the equipment value, hire duration, transport, location and assessed risk. The security amount is separate from the hire price.

Public facing prices will be shown including GST wherever practical. Business quotes or rate cards may also show the ex GST amount where the GST inclusive total remains clear.

The Damage Waiver costs 10% of the equipment hire subtotal, minimum $25 plus GST, $27.50 including GST.

An extension must be approved in writing. An unapproved late return may be charged at one additional daily hire rate. Further daily rates may apply while the equipment remains overdue.

Documented costs caused by the delay may also apply where another confirmed booking is affected.

Equipment must be returned clean, dry and correctly packed. Cleaning, decontamination, repacking and bench labour may be charged at $75 an hour excluding GST, $82.50 including GST.

Missing equipment, accessories or consumed items not included as consumables may be charged. Examples include cables, power supplies, batteries, adapters, memory cards, mounts, clips, antennas, cases and small accessories.

Approved non recoverable third party costs remain payable. Consumer rights that can't legally be excluded are not affected.
