HOW HIRE WORKS

Punch in your hire dates before you start browsing. You'll see what's available and what it costs.

Your booking's confirmed once payment's cleared and any required approval is sorted. Bigger, longer, last minute or higher risk bookings might get a quick check from us before we lock them in.

Know exactly what you need? Grab the individual items. Want the whole setup in one hit? Grab a package instead. Packages are created around a common job with all the gear, all the cables and all the accessories already grouped together.

Check the What's Included section on every product or package before you add extras. Don't assume something's in the box unless it's listed there.

At checkout you'll need to give us:

Payment's due upon checkout or prior to it getting to you, unless we've agreed credit terms with you in writing. Setting up an account speeds up repeat bookings, but you don't need one for a normal checkout.

Right after you book, we'll send you an ID Verification Form to complete online. We run a 100 point check, the same idea as a bank.

Get it back to us quickly. An incomplete form puts your booking at risk of being cancelled.

Pick up from our Footscray studio by appointment or we'll deliver across Melbourne starting from $82.50 including GST each way. Setup, pack down, having us onsite or an operator running the gear are separate services unless they're included in your booking.

Check the cases and gear at handover, or as soon as you can after delivery. Test the setup before your event starts, not five minutes before you need it live. That gives us time to help while someone's still available. Get in touch straight away if anything looks damaged, missing, unsafe, isn't working or doesn't match your booking.

Only people who know what they're doing should operate the gear, following the instructions and safety warnings that come with it. Don't sub hire, alter, repair, relocate or use it for a job it wasn't built for without checking first. Keep it secure and dry, away from weather, liquids, sand, salt, heat and anyone who shouldn't be near it.

Everything that goes in the booking comes back: equipment, cases, cables, batteries, power supplies, adapters, stands and accessories. All of it clean, dry, properly packed and in the condition it left in, fair wear and tear aside.

Want more time? Get it confirmed in writing first. An unapproved late return may cop an extra day's hire rate.

We check and test everything once it's back. Any part of your bond that isn't owed is released promptly once check in and any assessment are done. Your bank might take a bit longer to show the funds again after we release the hold.

Approved third party costs we can't recover stay payable.

None of this affects rights you can't legally sign away.
