DPA Microdot adapter hire in Melbourne. The small part that gets a DPA mic talking to your wireless pack.

Every DPA miniature mic we hire ends in a Microdot connector and most transmitters don't take one. This adapter sits between the two, so a DPA 4060, 4061, 4066, 4067 or 4099 Core plugs straight into the pack you're running. Pick the connector that matches your transmitter when you book. TA5F is the DPA DAD3056, made for Lectrosonics LM, SM and UM series packs. 3.5 mm locking is the DAD6034, for Sennheiser evolution wireless, XSW-D and SpeechLine bodypacks. 3 pin LEMO is the DAD6003, for Sennheiser 2000, 3000, 5000, 6000 and 9000 series and EW-DX LEMO bodypacks, Shure Axient Digital LEMO bodypacks and selected Trantec and Wisycom models.

It's a tiny thing that stops a shoot dead when it's missing. Add one with the mic and it's in the case on the day.

Good for: lav and headset mics on wireless packs, interviews, presentations, theatre, broadcast and location sound.

Good to know: One adapter per mic. Not sure which connector your pack uses? Tell us the transmitter model and we'll match it. Don't overtighten the Microdot thread.
