The Pioneer CDJ-3000 is the newest in their DJ CD Player line up. The CDJ-3000 is equipped with a new MPU (micro processing unit), with Pioneer saying: “The new MPU in the unit is the first we’ve ever put in a CDJ. The MPU’s processing power has enabled us to bring exciting new functions that weren’t possible before and gives us scope to introduce more features via future updates.” The MPU ensures stable performance and allows for a smoother experience, such as faster-loading tracks and Hot Cues.

The touchscreen on the CDJ-3000 is a huge improvement on the CDJ-2000 NXS2, measuring at nine inches and coming at a higher resolution. Screen brightness has also been increased by 150 per cent.

​Other features include eight Hot Cue buttons, Beat Jump buttons (the quantized number of beats can be set to a value of 1/2, 1, 2, 4, 8, 16, 32, or 64 beats) and an 8-Loop Button.
